The VOVOX philosophy is that it may make sense to discuss the theoretical background of cables, but that it is the ear that must have the final say regarding audio cable quality. In light of this, VOVOX will offer the opportunity to conduct A/B-tests in a studio-like environment at the upcoming Prolight + Sound exhibition in Frankfurt. The demo room was designed and equipped in cooperation with several renowned producers. The company mbakustik will arrange the necessary studio acoustics, Musikelectronic Geithain GmbH will offer two identical, matched monitor systems. At the press of a button (thanks to Dangerous Music), it will be possible to switch between different cable configurations and compare speaker cables, as well as balanced and unbalanced cables. Musicians will have the possibility of checking instrument cables using electric bass guitars (Marleaux Bass Guitars) and electro-acoustic guitars (Lakewood Guitars). To ensure optimal listening conditions, the number of guests participating simultaneously should be limited to three.
