Since August 1st, Mix magazine subscribers have been able to vote online for the most creative projects and innovative audio products of the past year. Presented by the Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio, the TEC Awards spans nine categories of Creative Achievement in sound production and 17 categories of Technical Achievement in product design. Nominations were determined by a panel of more than 100 engineers, producers, mixers, facility owners and other audio professionals. S.E.A. proudly announces the nomination for the Brauner Phanthera microphone in the category Microphone Technology/Recording. The Phanthera is the fourth Brauner product to be nominated. All winners will be awarded in the 2008 TEC Awards ceremony which will take place on Friday, October 3 at the Westin St. Francis during the 125th Audio Engineering Society Convention.
