Two-Channel Mic Pre
Great River Electronics
MP-2NV
The MP-2NV (two channel mic preamp) greatly modernizes and improves classic British design. This single-rack-space pair of preamps offer the same definitive sonic fidelity and expert craftsmanship as all Great River products, with the ability to fine-tune gain effects like 1970's-era 1073's. Transparency and vintage harmonic structure are both achieved with NV-Series preamps. The MP-2NV achieves 'new classic' performance status with two discrete Class-A gain stages (the dual gain-stage meters are a Great River exclusive), a front-panel DI input jack which is routed via FET through the input transformer (also unique to Great River preamps) for must-hear-to-believe sound from all Hi-Z instruments, and a discrete high-current Class-A big iron transformer-coupled output amplifier. The MP-2NV is a fundamentally important audio tool that brings out the best in every microphone and instrument.

MP-500NV
'500' Series Rack Preamp
Great River Electronics
MP-500NV
The MP-500NV is a professional quality microphone preamplifier designed to re-create the vintage sound characteristics of the early 1970s large consoles. Modern components give the MP-500NV more clarity, punch and performance under normal use. In addition, features like metering before and after the major gain stages let the user drive it 'hard' to greatly expand the range of sonic options. All microphones will benefit from the power of the MP-500NV preamplifier, including dynamic, condenser and especially ribbon types. The MP-500NV uses the same audio and metering circuit board found in the NV series preamplifiers. This unit is designed to fit into a '500' series rack using 2 available slots. It receives its power supply from the host rack. The unit is equipped with a HI-Z instrument jack that has its own input amplifier and was designed for 'DI' applications. All specifications and performance details are identical to the NV series preamplifiers with the exception of size, weight, patch jack, -10dBv Out.

MEQ-1NV
Mic Pre/EQ Combo
Great River Electronics
MEQ-1NV
The new MEQ-1NV is the Great River channel strip - discrete Class-A, incredibly versatile. The EQ-1NV (four-band parametric, true inductor/capacitor, '70's British 1081/1083-style) is routed via the patch loop jack on the ME-1NV (two-gain-stage, dual-meter, '70's British 1073-style mic pre). In this configuration, the EQ is inserted between the mic preamp gain stages, providing a wide range of gain-based effects. With higher input gain / lower output gain, the EQ sections can be driven slightly harder for increased harmonics; with lower input gain / higher output gain, the EQ sounds very transparent. With its ultra-high headroom and ultra-low noise floor, the MEQ-1NV is an indispensable tool for modern recording.

ME-1NV
The ME-1NV (single channel mic preamp) greatly modernizes and improves classic British design. This 'desktop' (and rackable) preamp offers the same definitive sonic fidelity and expert craftsmanship as all Great River products, with the ability to fine-tune gain effects like 1970's-era 1073's. Transparency and vintage harmonic structure are both achieved with NV-Series preamps. The ME-1NV achieves 'new classic' performance status with two discrete Class-A gain stages (the dual gain-stage meters are a Great River exclusive), a front-panel DI input jack which is routed via FET through the input transformer (also unique to Great River preamps) for must-hear-to-believe sound from all Hi-Z instruments, and a discrete high-current Class-A big iron transformer-coupled output amplifier. MAQ-2NV
Stereo Mastering Equalizer
Great River Electronics
MAQ-2NV
The MAQ-2NV is a stereo mastering equalizer based on the much-respected EQ-2NV. This two-rack-space digitally controlled analog parametric EQ offers similar topology to vintage 1081/1083 models, but with welcome improvements. Newly designed Class-A discrete single-ended amplifiers and true inductor/capacitor (L/C) circuitry add greater clarity and dynamic range to the musicality of the vintage-era models. The MAQ-2NV also has a unique discrete high-current Class-A balanced output stage. Built to satisfy personal requests from mastering engineers who have heard the EQ-2NV, it features extended high and low frequency ranges, EQ gain switches, linkable channel control, and very low frequency high pass filters. Each channel's four EQ band gain switches range in 1/2 dB steps from 0 to +/-3dB, and 1dB steps from +/-3 to +/- 8dB, and each band has separate pushbutton bypass switches. There are Left and Right channel bypass switches, the channel high pass filter frequencies are 15, 20, 25, 32, 40, and 50 Hz, and the Link switch sets both channels from the left channel controls for identical EQ curves. As in the EQ-2NV, the front panel input selector / sensitivity switch offers the option of using the signal from the MAQ-2NV's transformer-coupled line input (ranging from +8dbm to -20dbm), or the patched signal from an NV preamp or other device.

EQ2NV
The EQ-2NV (one channel equalizer) greatly modernizes the classic British 1081/1083-type design. This single-rack-space digitally controlled analog parametric EQ offers similar topology to vintage 1081/1083 models, but with welcome improvements. Newly designed Class-A discrete single-ended amplifiers and true inductor/capacitor (L/C) circuitry add greater clarity and dynamic range to the musicality of the vintage-era models. The EQ-2NV also has a unique discrete high-current Class-A balanced output stage. To make life in the studio (and on the road) easier, the EQ-2NV has been specifically designed to integrate with the patch loop in Great River NV Series microphone preamplifiers (with a single TRS 1/4 cable), for complete flexibility in tracking and mixing. The front panel input selector / sensitivity switch offers the option of using the signal from the EQ-2NV's transformer-coupled line input (ranging from +8dbm to -20dbm), or the patched signal from the NV preamp. When connected via the patch loop, the four EQ sections are inserted between the microphone (or DI) input's first gain stage (with level control and metering) and the preamplifier's output gain stage and big iron transformer (also with level control and metering). This routing flexibility provides a broad range of sonic/harmonic possibilities and maintains a full Class-A signal path.

The 32EQ is a new 500-series version of the EQ and filters from the renowned Harrison 32 Series consoles. In conjunction with a special adapter the 32EQ can also be used with the Audient Black Series. The 32EQ incorporates the original specifications and with support directly from the original designers at Harrison Consoles it is guaranteed that the prized characteristics of the original were maintained in the new design. The 32EQ has the full features of the 32-series EQ. The Harrison 32-Series console was the world’s first 32-bus inline recording consoles. They became a staple among recording studios and were the basis for many console designs that followed. Countless hit records were produced on Harrison consoles during the birth of modern pop productions, including Abba, Sade, Queen, Janet Jackson and Michael Jackson. The 32C console was used by Bruce Swedien in the recording and mixing of Michael Jackson’s Thriller, the best-selling album of all time. The 32EQ transfers the sound from the coveted Series 32 analog console to a compact format. Like all Great River products, the 32EQ is designed and built in the USA.
