The MERO speakers will blend beautifully into any interior due to their nearly invisible design making only their extraordinary sound draw your attention. Their slim grill with very thin border of only 1 mm and limited grill depth extrudes the surface by only 3.2 mm when installed. The Ultra-compact size enables the MERO2 smoothly integrate into any interior like no other loudspeaker. The outer dimensions only measure only 146 x 98 mm and the built-in depth which doesn’t exceed 70 mm allows installation in any surface while being unobtrusive. The sound originates from a 2” aluminum cone driver which provides a full-range, warm and detailed sound, with an improved response in the low frequencies due to a ported enclosure with closed back can. This way, a smooth sound reproduction with clear and crisp sound is guaranteed. An internal self-resetting network provides an optimal overload protection. All these details share their part to the quality of the MERO 2, resulting in a highly reliable loudspeaker producing a pure sound with a maximum power handling of 20 Watt and an RMS power handling of 10 Watt. An elegant look with minimal visual impact is created by the slim grill with very thin border, while lifetime stability, secure mounting and easy installation is guaranteed using the quick-fix mechanism which can be tightened by two screws and the Gold-Con™ spring clamp connectors. The grill is held in place using neodymium magnets, providing a quick and reliable assembly. Installation can be done both vertically and horizontally.
The WTR06 is a 100 Volt line transformers for impedance matching between low impedance loudspeakers (8 Ohm) and 100 Volt amplifiers. Using the WTR06 line transformer, low impedance loudspeakers can be applied to any 100 Volt public address system where long cable runs can be used. The WTR06 has a maximum output power of 6 Watt and different power taps for 6 Watt, 3 Watt and 1.5 Watt. The housing is designed to be water- and dustproof, while making it possible to be hidden at any location such as above false ceilings, in wall junction boxes, in hollow places inside walls, ... The primary connection (100V side) is performed using a special designed waterproof AWX5 connector whereby the desired power tap can be selected depending on the rotation of the connector. The secondary connection (8 Ohm side) is performed using a waterproof cable gland. A connection cable with a length of 0.5 meter is provided on both sides of the transformer. The over-dimensioned core of the transformer limits the saturation to a minimum and gives a remarkable improvement of the sound reproduction, especially in the low frequency range. All these features make these transformers comply to an Ingress Protection rating of IP66.
The WMM450 is a fire-proof speaker back box for in-wall and in- ceiling installations in hollow structures. It is constructed out of power coated steel and allows installation for all kinds of flush mount speakers with a built-in depth up to ~ 115 mm. It provides an ideal environment for the installed speakers while preventing undesirable sound leaks into neighboring rooms. The dimensions of 446 x 455 x 127 mm allow it being placed in between a wide variation of wall studs or ceiling beams. It features an internal volume of 15 liters and comes pre-fitted with acoustic damping material for optimal acoustic performance.
