Stereo Program Limiter

The SPL2 is a basic limiter which guards the sound pressure level under all circumstances. It offers the most cost effective solution to sound level problems.

The limiters’ microcontroller continuously measures the input-level and attenuates the output level as much as necessary to keep the sound level underneath the given threshold. Because the SPL-limiters are no peak limiters the dynamics of the music remains unchanged.

The SPL2 has the ability to adjust the sound-level (actual output-level) and the threshold (input sensitivity). All the connectors, the sound-level and threshold controller are inaccessible after the limiter is sealed.

This limiter is recommended as ‘the best’ by an increasing number of professional sound system installers.
