Mixers & Matrix Systems
The more sources and signals come together, the more versatile audio solutions are needed for flexible processing and distribution - whether in public areas or in a corporate environment. Our preamplifiers, mixers and matrixes are used in multi-zone installations, venues and conferencing applications.

DP548
The 5 Series are powerful DSP based audio processors, combining the functions of a multitude of conventional products in a compact 1U unit with extensive remote control capabilities. The DP548 has four inputs and eight outputs which can be configured in a selection of standard crossover modes (2 x 4 way for example although they are not limited to these configurations). It also offers a “free assign” mode, which allows completely flexible routing of any output from any combination of inputs and a “matrix” mode which allows mixing of any input to output (as opposed to switching with fixed gain). Each input has a gain control, variable delay, a 28 band graphic equaliser and a further eight bands of fully parametric equalisation. The parametric filter bands have a large selection of different filter types available, including shelving, notch, band-pass, phase and elliptical behaviours. Three bands of dynamic EQ are also included on each input, which adapts its behaviour depending of the proximity of the level to a user-defined threshold. Each output has a gain control, variable delay, high and low pass crossover filters, nine bands of fully parametric equalisation, polarity switching, a fully featured compressor with variable knee, a flexible limiter, and a final clip limiter. The crossover filters offer slopes of up to 48dB/Octave, with a variety of responses available. Remote control is catered for in the form of RS232 and RS485 ports, and multiple user memories are provided for the storage and recall of settings. A GPI interface may also be fitted to allow remote memory recalls using simple switch closure apparatus. Security lock-out is available for all controls. The 5 Series are also equipped with AES/EBU digital inputs and outputs, and include sample rate conversion, capable of accepting digital audio from 32kHz up to 192kHz. Units can be controlled externally by XTA’s proprietary AudioCore Windows software, along with existing and future ‘AudioCore’ products.

DC1048
Integrated Audio Management and Proccessing unit
XTA Electronics
DC1048
Installation audio processing becomes a whole lot easier with the introduction of the DC1048. Working in conjunction with both iCore and AudioCore, it’s easy to program the unit the way you want, and then unplug the computer, safe in the knowledge that settings can’t be changed, and even if they are, setting up timed presets ensures they’ll be back as they should be by the next morning! Units may be networked via RS485. Offering full matrix mixing and a pallette of EQ functions to satisfy even the most demanding application, the DC1048 doesn’t compromise your processing, whilst offering a range of installation-friendly features. 24-bit high end converters coupled with a 96k sample rate, ensure a bandwidth in excess of 30kHz and a dynamic range of over 112dB. XTA’s world class limiters, offer unrivalled transparency, give peace of mind when configuring a system to “set and forget”. Systems that are often driven hard “into the red” and with heavy limiting, more often than not, sound harsh and tiring. Our limitiers are renowned for their smooth controlled behaviour, even when working hard. Quick access keys make setting up the remote facilities a breeze, with simple easy to remember menus. Preset recalls may also be actioned from the front panel. The real time clock and calendar in each unit allows for the set-up of fully automated preset recalls, so your system can seamlessly adapt in the background with no need for user intervention. Display and guide LEDs fade up when the unit is locally accessed, with the display fading up independently when remotely accessed. With a GPIO interface built in, along with the USB easy access front panel connector, and RS485 networking, it’s easy to get your system configured and then left secure with only remote access via the touch panels (or any other system you choose). As with all xta products, excellent sound quality is assured through the heritage of the 4 Series processing platform, and the use of high resolution, high sample rate audio converters. Remote touch sensitive wall panels allow for quick recall of up to four presets (with the facility to program an offset for different banks). These panels can be parallelled up around a venue so any one will trigger a system-wide recall, with messages relaying via RS485. An additional control line allows for an override memory to work with emergency evacuation systems.
