Overview

Personal Mixer

The A640 is the next-generation flagship model of Aviom’s personal mixer product line. It brings a new levels of user control and customization and a streamlined interface with features that provide flexible options to performers both on stage and in the recording studio. It’s powered by Aviom’s award winning, high speed, low latency A-Net® digital audio transport protocol, the world’s only protocol that is purpose-built for personal monitoring applications.

The A640 Personal Mixer fits seamlessly into audio environments using Dante-based audio networks, analog consoles, and digital mixers. It is also compatible with all Aviom personal mixing products, allowing easy updates and expansions to existing systems.

The A640 Personal Mixer combines a powerful mix engine with an intuitive user interface that doesn't get in your way while performing. The A640's color hi-res display has three Mix Views showing all the details about the mix without sacrificing editing simplicity. The dedicated View button provides fast control at any time. Channel View provides detail about an individual channel's settings (volume, pan, treble, bass, and effects). The Mix View shows the volume level of every channel in the mix, and the Names View displays each channel by name along with its volume level. Editing is easy, even while singing and playing. Channel names can be automatically synced from a Dante network or entered manually.

Custom channel layouts and per-channel controls for treble, bass, and effects are available to suite each performer needs. The dedicated mono Aux Mix output can send any or all of its mix channels to bass shakers, subs or wedges for a better music experience.

And each A640 can send any or all of its mix channels to the dedicated mono Aux Mix output to easily add bass shakers, subs or wedges.

When used with Aviom’s powerful D800 products, the A640’s Intercom allows direct communication with other A640 users with just the touch of a button.

A640 can store up to sixteen mix presets that are instantly available during performance. Entire band’s configurations can be saved to a USB memory stick for easy recall in shared systems.
