Royer Labs was formed in 1998 to bring David Royer's unique, modern ribbon microphone designs to the world. Microphone Shouck Mount

The Sling-Shock™ model RSM-SS1 is a microphone shock mount, which provides excellent isolation between a microphone and the microphone stand.

The innovative suspension system reduces induced distortion by keeping out unwanted vibration and random low-frequency disturbances commonly characterized as rumble.

By design, the Sling-Shock is essentially maintenance free. Rubber and similar materials commonly found in microphone suspension systems have been completely eliminated.

The microphone clutching mechanism ofters greater adaptability by allowing critical position adjustments to the microphone. A knurled lock-down knob secures the microphone in place, with a soft cotton interior chamber providing a non-abrasive grasp of the microphone.

The Sling-Shock RSM-SS1 is sized to fit Royer's 1-inch diameter R-121, R-122, R-122V, SF-1 and SF-12 ribbon microphones. Any cylindrical microphone measuring approximately one inch in diameter (+/- 1/8 inch) will work with the model RSM-SS1.
