SCM25A Pro Mk2
The SCM25A Pro Mk2 is a compact 3-way high-performance active studio monitor loudspeaker, based around a 6.5/164mm bass driver loaded in a 25-litre vented cabinet. The monitor’s combination of exceptional mid-range clarity, high-output, extended bass response and modest size make it ideal for nearfield monitoring across a wide range of critical applications. The 3-way monitor features proprietary drive units designed and manufactured by ATC. Low frequencies below 380Hz are handled by a 6.5/164mm bass driver, mid-range frequencies between 380Hz & 3.5kHz by the ATC 3”/75mm soft dome mid-driver. High frequencies above 3.5kHz are handled by ATC’s SH25-76S Dual-Suspension 1/25mm soft dome tweeter. This HF driver update is the primary improvement from the Mk1-to-Mk2 model. The enclosure is a ported/vented type, tuned to 32Hz and featuring a 3/75mm diameter port with flared entry & exit to minimise port air noise. The SCM25A Pro Mk2 is actively driven by a 3-way class A/B amp pack mounted in the rear of the cabinet. Each drive unit has its own dedicated power amplifier. Audio input is via a rear panel mounted 3-pin female XLR and power via an IEC mains power inlet. There are user controls for input sensitivity and bass ‘boost’. Crossovers are 4th order Linkwitz-Riley and all-pass filters are included to optimise the phase response through the crossover regions, improving the tonal accuracy, imaging, on and off-axis frequency response. FET peak limiters are included to reduce amplifier ‘hard-clipping’. Power ‘on’ and limiter ‘active’ is indicated by a front panel mounted bi-colour LED.

SCM45A-PRO
The SCM45A Pro is a completely new designed high-performance, three-way compact active loudspeaker. Delivering high output and extended low frequency for its size, without compromising the overall balance it can be used in near- or mid-field positions. SCM45A Pro has two 6,5 woofers for deeper bass response and increased SPL capability, one 3 Soft Dome mid-range driver and ATC’s new proprietary 1” dual-suspension tweeter for increased resolution in the top end. Those drive units are powered by ATC’s proprietary active Tri - AmpPack, a three-channel discrete MOSFET Class A/B design with 150W, 60W, and 25W for the bass, mid, and high frequency ranges, respectively. Revealingly, the SCM45A Pro is physically symmetrical — not mirror imaged, and is suitably sized for placement on or behind a console meter bridge. It is ideally suited, therefore, to positioning as a centre speaker between other SCM45A Pros and also ATC’s SCM50ASL Pro three-way active loudspeakers.

SCS70 Pro
High-performance 12" Active Subwoofer
ATC
SCS70 Pro
The ATC SCS70 Pro is an high-performance 12/300mm active subwoofer, designed to deliver the exceptional levels of performance demanded by audio and music professionals and integral to partnering with ATCs range of active studio monitors. Its performance and features make it ideally suited to stereo, multi-channel surround, and immersive audio formats such as Dolby Atmos. ATC has a rich history of developing loudspeaker systems from component level up and the SCS70 Pro is no different. The subwoofer features a ATC designed & built sub-bass driver, engineered for optimal reproduction of the lowest four octaves of the audio band. To best achieve this, it is designed with a 30mm magnetic gap, 50% longer than any other offered by ATC. The long-gap and short-coil configuration takes a long-standing ATC design feature to its limit, ensuring magnetic non-linearities are minimised, while simultaneously delivering the high linear excursion required to generate accurate and dynamic low frequency output. Generating a high level of magnetic flux over such a long gap required extensive FEA computer modelling and the resultant 6/150mm N48M Neodymium magnet is the most powerful ever assembled by ATC and a first for the company. As well as minimising distortion, the short-coil long-gap configuration ensures the voice coil remains surrounded by the steel motor structure - even at high drive levels - maximising cooling, reducing power compression, and improving reliability. Turbulent air noise within the driver is minimised via a large, flared vent running through the centre of the motor structure, which has the added benefit of increasing voice coil and motor cooling. The SCS70 Pro subwoofer delivers an extended low-frequency response without employing electronic equalisation, quite unlike many subwoofers available today. Instead, the more elegant combination of exceptional transducer engineering and a marginally larger cabinet volume is used. The simplicity of this approach reduces phase shift and group delay, aiding the integration of the sub with the partnering monitor loudspeakers. Ultimately, it delivers a more balanced and coherent experience for the listener, extending the low-frequency response without masking details or changing the tonal character in the upper bass/lower mid-range. Drawing on 34 years of experience in amplifier design and development, ATC's electronic engineering team have delivered an all-new amplifier for this subwoofer. The 300W class AB design is hand-built by ATC at their UK facility and precisely optimised to the requirements of the drive unit, resulting in fast, dynamic bass with minimal colouration. Two balanced inputs provide connectivity suited to both stereo and multi-channel/immersive audio systems plus two balanced outputs provide connections to monitor loudspeakers or to 'daisy-chain' multiple subs. Low-pass filters are analogue, 4th order Linkwitz-Riley and filter frequency options ensure optimal integration with a wide range of studio monitors. An industry-standard 80Hz low-pass and an 'off' option (for use with external processing) are also provided. A polarity switch plus a continuously variable 180° phase adjustment allows further optimisation of the subwoofer crossover and a stepped attenuator with a 21 dB range provides precise level matching. Extending the low frequency response of a monitoring system brings many advantages, but occasionally, reducing the amount of bass energy in the control room allows the listener to focus on a particular task higher up in the audio spectrum. The SCS70 Pro output mute feature makes this quick and easy, with ‘mute’ toggled via a single latching footswitch (connected via a ¼ / 6.35mm jack). In addition, multiple subwoofers can be muted using the same footswitch, connected via the mute 'Thru' jack. The size and performance of the SCS70 Pro make it the ideal partner for a wide range of ATC monitor loudspeakers, from the SCM12 Pro up to and including the SCM50A Pro. Multiple subs can be employed to elevate performance, to fill larger rooms and also when partnering with larger models of loudspeakers. Buffered linkable inputs and outputs makes connection of multiple subs simple as does the linkable ‘mute’ circuit. Surround and Immersive Audio formats can be particularly demanding of subwoofers and this design offers improvements in dynamic range and clarity at higher SPLs. It is recommended that Dolby’s DARDT (Dolby Audio Room Design Tool) should be used to aid the design of ATC monitoring systems for Dolby Atmos, ensuring the format guidelines are met and best possible performance is achieved. Designed and engineered with a focus on resolution and integration, the SCS70 Pro offers users additional low frequency extension and dynamic range but without compromising balance in the upper bass and lower mid-range. It provides an upgrade path to customers owning smaller monitors and lacking space for larger mid-field or main monitors whilst also strengthening ATC’s options in surround and immersive audio applications. Whichever way anyone chooses to use it, the SCS70 Pro is a strong addition to the Professional Series product line-up.

SCM12P-PRO
2-Way Compact Passive Loudspeaker
ATC
SCM12P-PRO
The SCM12P Pro is a high performance 2-way passive nearfield monitor with an installation-friendly footprint ideally suited to nearfield monitoring as well as multichannel music and post-production applications. The tweeter is a 25mm/one-inch soft-dome designed around ATC’s unique dual-suspension technology. Unlike conventional tweeters, this precision part employs two suspensions, offering far greater control of the voice coil and dome motion — especially at higher sound pressure levels. The result is an extended high-frequency response with much greater clarity and definition due to the reduction in disturbing anharmonic distortion. Listener fatigue is also greatly reduced, resulting in users being able to work for longer periods with greater accuracy. At the lower end of the frequency spectrum, mid/bass reproduction is handled by ATC’s 150mm/six-inch proprietary CLD drive unit with a 45mm/1.75-inch diameter voice coil. The driver is capable of tremendous dynamic range with minimal power compression. Tthis construction creates a smooth on- and off-axis frequency response and also a reduction in distortion leading to a more lifelike reproduction of source material. Meaningfully, judgements and decisions can be made more quickly, more accurately, and for longer periods of time by busy working audio professionals. The monitor is equipped with a bi-wire connection panel to enable separate amplification of mid/bass and high frequency drivers if required.

P2-PRO
2x 300 W Dual-Mono Power Amplifier
ATC
P2-PRO
The P2 Pro Dual Mono Power Amplifier is a dual mono Class A/B design, keeping the power supplies, signal, and return paths discrete. Each channel separatly delivers 300W of continuous power to drive the most challenging loudspeaker loads with wide bandwidth and ultra-low distortion. The Dual Mono approach ensures that the amplifier will achieve maximum signal separation with minimal crosstalk, and that intermodulation between channels via the power supplies is reduced to an absolute minimum across a frequency range of 400kHz. It also means that the power delivery from one channel cannot affect the specified power available from the other. Within a new low-vibration 19-inch rack-mount chassis design featuring a precision machined 12.7mm brushed aluminium front panel, the P2 PRO Dual Mono Power Amplifier’s layout includes a massive, custom-made 400 VA low-noise transformer for each channel and an output stage involving three pairs of MOSFET devices per channel to achieve peak current output of over 15 amps. Needless to say, with ATC’s unique ‘grounded source’ output stage, smooth power delivery and extremely low harmonic distortion is a given. Gain matches that of the P2 PRO Dual Mono Power Amplifier’s lower power P1 PRO Dual Mono Power Amplifier sibling so that they can be used together in passive bi-amp or tri-amp systems connected via ‘Link’ phono inputs/outputs. The P2 PRO Dual Mono Power Amplifier offers both balanced XLR and unbalanced phono inputs, ‘Link’ phonos, proprietary speaker terminals, and a front panel-mounted power switch.

P1-PRO
2x 150 W Dual-Mono Power Amplifier
ATC
P1-PRO
The P1 Pro is a MOSFET Class A/B design dual mono power amplifiers with 150 W per channel into 8 Ohms. At 150 W per channel into 8 Ohms, this fan-less, rack-mountable power amplifier offers the perfect solution for any studio wishing to get the best out of their passive monitors. The P1 Pro features a 19-inch rack-mount chassis with front panel mounted standby button and L/R clip indication. The amplifiers incorporate the same gain reduction and loudspeaker protection circuits that are used in the ATC active monitors. These circuits ensure that the amplifier will not clip, even when working at very high volumes, which protects the loudspeakers from damage and improves the subjective performance of the entire system. Importantly, neither amplifier uses a fan, so they can be placed anywhere, including the control room. The P1 Pro is a ‘true’ dual mono design: the power supplies, signal, and return paths are totally separated from each other. This approach maximizes signal separation and minimizes crosstalk. Further, intermodulation between channels via the power supplies is reduced to an absolute minimum at all frequencies, and the power demand from one channel cannot affect the specified power available to the other channel.
