ARJ12P
Junction box - RJ45
AUDAC
ARJ12P
The ARJ12P is a connection solution for peripheral devices such as the Audac Wall-Panels of the WP2xx series. The ARJ12P eliminates the complicated laying of twisted pair cables, which are used for the connection and thus simultaneous transport of audio signals and power supply. The twisted pair cables can be connected to the ARJ12P via the RJ45 socket. Connections for power supply and the two balanced audio channels are available on the ARJ12P as Euroblocks. The ARJ12P can be used in both directions, either audio signals can be sent through or received from the RJ45 bus connection. As the ARJ12P is a passive connection solution, the maximum cable length depends on the following factors: - Connected input, - Cable type (shielded or unshielded, CAT standard, etc.) - Installation location (next to power cables, dimmers, etc.). The plastic housing enables easy mounting on mini DIN rails.

APG20MK2
Active audio transceivers RCA
AUDAC
APG20MK2
The APG20 is an audio receiver gateway converting databus transmitted audio signals to standard line and microphone level signals. The audio output of the APG20 can be fed to regular inputs on audio amplifiers, pre-amplifiers, mixers or many more. In combination with the matching input modules (WLI and WMI) it offers a solution for two channel audio transmission (line & microphone) covering distances up to 300 meters over standard UTP CAT5E (or better) cabling. Distances up to 600 meters can be achieved when applying additional power supplies. Due to the differential bus input with increased voltage levels, the received signals are insensitive for noise, interference and attenuation over the long transmission distance. This offers the appropriate solution for high quality audio transmissions in long distance applications while maintaining high quality audio reproduction. The bus input carrying both audio channels, an RS-485 data channel and 24 Volts distribution to the transmitter end is implemented using an RJ45 connector. The audio outputs are performed using dual RCA (line) and female XLR (microphone) connections. The XLR output is accompanied with a switch allowing selection between a -40 dB and 0 dB output level. The signals carried on the RS-485 pair of the databus are linked to an RJ45 output connection, allowing daisy chaining to the controlled equipment. A variety of optionally available mounting brackets for the AUDAC S-Box product range are allowing desk, closet or 19” equipment rack installation.

OPT2
Optical fiber kit for M2
AUDAC
OPT2
The OPT2 is a fiber interconnection interface for the M2 Digital Multi-Zone & Multi-Media Matrix System. This module makes it possible to transfer up to 16 digital audio signals over one single fiber conductor (8 stereo channels) for covering large distances. A duplex 62.5 / 125 µm multimode glass fiber terminated with ST/PC connectors should be used for linking the devices with each other. The wiring of the entire system needs to be done according to a closed loop principle where the output is connected to the input of the next device in the chain and the last device gives feedback to the input of the first device.Multiple devices (up to 15 pcs) can be cascaded through series linking with a maximum distance of 1000 meters between two devices. The especially developed protocol for this purpose guarantees an accurate signal transmission with maximal speed and reliability. The OPT2 includes all software and accessories (except the fiber) which are necessary to control and configure the system. The selection of the signals to be transferred and the zone assignment can be made in the user interface of the system.Recommended fiber to be used in combination with OPT2 is ‘PROCAB FBS125 Duplex Fiber Optic ST/PC to ST/PC 62.5/125µm’. This optic transmitter is compatible with 50/125 μm, 62.5/125 μm, 100/140 μm, and 200 μm HCS® Fiber.

ATU44MK2
Universal input adapter
AUDAC
ATU44MK2
The ATU44 is a universal input adapter unit for conversion between various audio level signals, offering a wide variety of connection and extension possibilities to audio systems. The speaker level input features various taps for 100V, 70V, 50V and 33V audio levels, while a balanced line input allows conversion between balanced and/or unbalanced line level audio signals. A typical application example is the conversion of any loudspeaker level audio signal to balanced or unbalanced line level signals. Any type of loudspeaker level signal can get applied to its input. This can be useful for expansion of any constant voltage distributed audio system and feeding the transformed output to an additional amplifier. Another typical application is connection of recording equipment on loudspeaker lines. Using the galvanic isolation between all the in & outputs, it can be used as an audio isolation solution, solving hum and buzz problems caused by ground loops. The front panel switch allows input signal selection between line or loudspeaker level input, while all inputs are connected using terminal block connectors. The line output is connected using a male XLR connector. A variety of optionally available mounting brackets for the AUDAC S-Box product range are allowing desk, closet or 19” equipment rack installation.

ARU204
The ARU204 is specially designed with flexibility and functionality in mind. Various ways of switching the 4 relays are provided, these include the integrated web interface, optional paging consoles and analogue contact triggering making the ARU204 AUDAC’s smartest and most innovative relay modules. With this ingenious device, switching between audio sources, signal routing, and even customized automation setups are obtainable. The bipolar relays allow switching of balanced mono signals as well as unbalanced stereo signals. Normal open and normal closed contacts are provided as well. A wide variation of signals can be switched, ranging from line-level audio signals to amplified loudspeakers signals (Low impedance or 100V) and voltage distribution (low voltage up to 240 V AC mains voltage distribution). Possibility for triggering relays through dry contact inputs, which can be used for triggering relays through external devices or actuators. Dry contacts priority over the digital functions/triggers. Typical applications are activations by external buttons, switches or alarm contacts. Thanks to its modular nature, the ARU204 is perfectly suitable for small home or retail applications as well as big installations. Integration of numerous ARU20x units in one system is possible due to the RS485 which allows daisy-chaining of multiple units. The ARU208 features an RS485 in and output connector, allowing even more convenient connections. The TCP/IP control possibilities allow integration of the ARU20x’s in any ethernet network. The integrated web-browser running an HTML5 interface allows the most flexible and complete operation while the freely available command set allows integration with any TCP/IP based control or automation system. The front of the black ABS housing provides a brief overview of its connection possibilities, while the back is equipped with a spring mount mechanism allowing easy mounting on widely available standard DIN rails. This way it’s possible to easily integrate it in any electrical cabinet where it can be powered using the optional PSD24x power supply.
